Monty Williams, CEO and founder of God’s Child Worldwide Inc., embarked on an inspiring journey to create a fashion brand deeply rooted in his Christian faith. The story of the company begins with Monty’s personal transformation and his lifelong passion for fashion and entrepreneurship.

Graduating at just 16 years old and having been involved in fashion since the age of four—starting with dressing himself and holding yard sales—Monty’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. After dedicating his life to Christ around 2022, he felt a calling to establish a clothing brand that would reflect his faith and values.

The idea for God’s Child Worldwide began with Monty’s desire to create a brand centered around God. He meticulously brainstormed names, jotting them down on two pieces of paper. His journey for divine guidance in naming his brand took a poignant turn when he and his family gathered at a beach house to honor his late uncle. While everyone else was inside, Monty went to the beach with his papers, seeking God’s direction. He prayed earnestly, asking for a name that would be both meaningful and inspired by divine will.

Upon returning inside, Monty shared his list of potential names with his aunt's friend's husband. As Monty mentioned the name "God’s Child," the man paused and revealed tattoos on both wrists—one reading "God" and the other "Child." This profound confirmation led Monty to adopt "God’s Child" as the brand name, adding "Worldwide" to signify a global reach and align with the biblical mission of spreading the gospel to all nations.

Determined to build a successful and authentic brand, Monty founded the company as an S-Corp LLC and commenced the creation of designs. He diligently sought out a manufacturer to bring his vision to life. The first two years were challenging, with only about 20 sales, but Monty’s persistence and faith remained steadfast.

His dedication has recently paid off, as God’s Child Worldwide has gained significant traction. The brand has experienced a breakthrough with viral jerseys and has received over 100 orders, reflecting the growing impact and success of Monty's endeavor. Monty’s journey with God’s Child Worldwide is a testament to his resilience, faith, and commitment to intertwining his passion for fashion with his Christian mission.
